Justin Drift has been active in the DJ and Music industry for over 3 decades between New Zealand & Australia, and brings a wealth of music knowledge and technical skills to any event he plays. Starting out at a very young age DJing school dances in the mid 80s, he quickly moved into bars, clubs and events of all shapes and sizes handling both DJing and MC duties in the early 90s. He also gained his first writing and production credits, working on an internationally sold album, before moving to Melbourne, Australia in the late 90s.

In Melbourne Justin continued to DJ everything from weddings, parties, clubs, pubs, raves and ‘bush-doofs’ while adapting to the new emerging CDJ technology as well as continuing to play on vinyl.

Moving to the back to New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty in 2016, Justin has quickly gained a reputation as one of the top DJs in the region, continuing to play all sorts of events and venues, with no musical style being off limits while providing a high level of customer satisfaction and attention to detail.

Now that the last of our friends and family are heading out from New Zealand, we’ve finally had a chance to regroup a bit and wanted to thank you for all of the work you put into our special day. You did an amazing job of keeping the party going all night, adapting to last minute hiccups, dealing with our very eclectic taste in music and generally making sure we had such a good time! I’m sorry that we didn’t interact more on the day because we were too busy dancing!

We are still waiting to receive our professional photos and collecting the masses of friends/family phone photos, but we will happily share them with you or on socials when we’ve received them. We had Justin for our wedding. He was AMAZING! He was so helpful throughout the wedding, as well as the days leading up to it. He was fun, organised, and the music was great. He made our day so much more amazing and special. He took care of everything music wise and I cannot fault how it all went. Jan was also amazing to deal with leading up to the wedding.
