Originally hailing from the UK, Chris has been Dj’ing in New Zealand for 15 years, holding club residencies in Auckland, Queenstown, Wellington, Taupo and now firmly planted in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Chris specialises in crafting multi genre sets, mixing singalong classics with modern dance anthems that will keep your guests on the floor all night long. Chris is also able to take care of the MC duties for your Wedding alongside managing your music.
We had the absolute privilege of three fantastic musicians joining us for our wedding.
Cam Mariu – acoustic ceremony / cocktail hour singer. His rendition of “Ruth B – Dandelions & James Bay – If You Ever Want to be in Love” were phenomenal. He read the crowd and atmosphere perfectly for the remaining songs.
DJ Ceekay (Chris) – Reception DJ. Chris is such a calm and competent vendor, who made sure to coordinate with our MC and ourselves immediately. He even stayed on a little longer at the end of the evening. Everyone loved his vibe.
Kareem Brown – Reception Saxophonist. Kareem joined us during our first dance “Luther van Dross – Never Too Much” and set the mood perfectly. A great addition to an already fantastic day.
Jan & Lauren, the brains behind DJ4You are the best team for the job. No question went unanswered. They reply promptly and offer assistance and advice wherever needed. The price paid for our package of three musicians came with a pleasant package discount – every cent was worth its weight. We wish we could do it all again! Thank you team.

We booked DJ4YOU for our January wedding and could not rate Jan and his team more highly! From when we first reached out to them, right up to the week of our wedding, Jan’s communication was prompt and super helpful. Our DJ, Chris, was amazing! He had great energy and read the room really well, while still keeping within the genres we wanted. The formalities on our wedding day ran slightly over schedule so we didn’t get into the party party part of the evening as early as we had planned but Chris was super flexible and adjusted the music accordingly.
