Headquartered in Auckland, our team now operates across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Northland, Christchurch and Queenstown regions, with a network of talented DJs, musicians and technicians who are passionate about creating moments that people remember. As we’ve grown, so has our commitment to quality, consistency and making every event feel effortless for our clients.
Today, DJ4You sits within a wider collective of event brands. Alongside our DJ offering, we’ve expanded into live music through Better Band, connecting clients with premium bands and musicians, and full-scale production through Crown Events, our dedicated audiovisual and event production arm. This allows us to offer a seamless, end-to-end entertainment and production experience under one roof.
From intimate weddings to large-scale corporate productions, we pride ourselves on reading the room, elevating the energy and delivering a polished, professional service every time. Behind the scenes, our experienced team works closely with clients, venues and planners to ensure every detail is dialled in — from the first enquiry through to the final track of the night.
We also continue to offer a wide range of high-quality equipment hire, including sound systems, lighting, DJ gear and event production solutions — all maintained to professional standards and ready to perform when it matters most.

CEO / Founding Director
Jan is based in the head office in Auckland, and looks after the sales and marketing for the company, as well as DJing our premium events.
Nationwide Regional Manager
Liam joined the team shortly after moving to Auckland to pursue his DJ career. It wasn’t long before he became the first full-time member of the team! He looks after operations in the Auckland office and supports the other regions across the country.
Wellington Regional Manager
Jason joined the team to help further our takeover of the entire country! With over 20 years experience in the industry, and having run his own business in the past, his role firmly places us into the countries capital, Manawatu and Palmerston North.
Sales Assistant
Lauren has been an integral part of our sales Team at DJ4You since 2022 looking after the majority of DJ & Photo Booth related enquired across New Zealand!
Sales Assistant
Sammie recently joined our sales team in 2024 assisting with all live music related enquiries and bookings. Sammie is based in The Bay of Plenty and also performs in two Bands offered as part of our Better Band offerings!
Lead DJ & Sales Assistant
Jessie is an integral part of our Wellington based Team as our lead event DJ, and also managing our local team of DJs delivering events. He also assists with booking enquiries and admin!
Workshop Manager
Chris manages our Auckland based workshop taking care of labour force team and being in charge of all equipment that goes out on our jobs and face to face dealings with hire customers.
Workshop Assistant
Len assists Chris in our Auckland workshop with setups, job prep, DJ maintenance and many of our setups on site related duties around the city as well as being a key DJ for many of our Private Event and Hospitality bookings.

We have a range of package options to cater for any budget, or requirements. With package options for 3, 6 & 10 hours, as well as custom quoting on anything in between. Each level of service also has the option to add or remove dance floor lighting and a range of other services. These packages start from $800 + gst for our 3 hour service, all the way through to $2400 + gst for our full day Platinum Service
Yes absolutely. Most of our DJs also take on club work where you can see them if you like. We are also working on compiling a ‘dance floor highlight reel’ for each of our DJs of little snippets of their dance floors at other events to give you a good idea of what you can expect for your dance floor!
Yes, of course. Whilst our DJs have an amazing collection of playlists with all the best songs of all genres and ages already, you are more than welcome to supply us with genre or artists selections, as well as a full spotify or requests list of songs you or your guests would like to hear. We prepare all of these songs to help our DJs personalise the song selection on the night, however, our DJs will always use their professional judgement to read the crowd and adjust the song selection as needed to get the best reaction from your guests wether that means sticking to the requested music, or changing it up if they aren’t working so well!
Our booking system is very air tight when it comes to keeping all details safe and secure within our system, meaning if something like this came to play that we can swap out the DJ in a matter of minutes and deliver the same service. We would of course let you know if there was a change in personnel if you had requested one of our DJs personally.
