A DJ is a fantastic solution for entertainment at your wedding, striking a good middle ground between just using a Spotify playlist and splurging on a live band. You can expect to pay between $800 and $2400 for a DJ, depending on various factors such as the duration of the service (e.g., a 3-hour dance floor set vs. a full day covering the ceremony, cocktail music, etc.) and the size of your guest list. Larger guest lists typically mean higher costs due to the need for additional speakers to ensure even sound distribution, avoiding scenarios where only two speakers at full volume blast from the dance floor.

May often signals the end of our Wedding season with Summer drawing to a close, but there was still a few bookings left for our team! Our DJ Iain MacMartin took the reigns for Kirsten & Ash on their special day at Sculptereum in Matakana.

We were lucky enough to be a part of Cordelia & Brads special day thanks to the recommendation of the Spencer on Byrons in house Wedding Planner, Rosie.

Queenstown is always a stunning back drop to host any event, but when we are asked to DJ for someones special day it is truly special.

Marc & Shawnees wedding was set in the South Auckland hills of Bombay at the Bracu Event Centre, part of the Simu Olive Gardens.

The Wedding was put together with the help from our friend Becks from Envy Events, and captured on Photo & Video by Kimberly Elizabeteh & Creative Films.  We were booked in to take care of the entire day for the lovely couple providing music and microphones right from the Ceremony.
