Lauren’s passion has always been music, and one of her favourite places in the world to be is behind her DJ decks, sharing that passion in the moments that deserve to be celebrated. She is well-connected in Aotearoa’s Rock scene, having been booked to DJ a wealth of bands’ afterparties and launch parties, while also playing on some of Auckland’s most iconic stages with her band The Not Okays. Having consistently headlined Emo Night events around the country with Ding Dong Lounge and Taking Back Saturday, her personal favourite music showcases her love of the power of nostalgia. It’s not just the mid-2000’s that she loves spinning, having mixed Disco, 80s Pop and Rock, 90s, 00’s and Top 40 hits to a range of crowds across Auckland’s nightlife scene since 2016. If it’s a guilty pleasure, she’s probably got it and she loves a good request! Outside of music, Lauren has worked in television, publicity and PR for almost a decade, and also contributes to Kiwi teen digital lifestyle magazine Billie. Lauren brings her warm tone, professional presence and energetic personality to everything she does, holding herself to a high standard to ensure your event is a stress-free success.
Just want to say a massive thank you for both the DJ and Photobooth last night – rave reviews from the company! Lauren was amazing and got the crowd on their feet instantly and had the perfect playlist all night, topped off with the stellar addition of the saxophone! The photobooth was also a hit and everyone we had on site was a pleasure to deal with!

Lauren was amazing!! We loved having her at our event! She was super engaged, fun, positive and got the party kicking off! We had a bit of a slow start as people turned up and food was served but once the formalities were done she played some awesome songs to get people up on the dance floor – we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would love to have her at our next event 🙂
