We invite all our to be couples to meet with us for a pre-event consultation at our one of our regional offices, or setup a meeting over Skype or Zoom. This helps us to gather all the necessary details from you, and also ask questions that you may not of thought of before. This also gives us a chance to find out who the celebrants, photographers etc are that we will be working alongside to ensure we provide all the correct AV that they require, or if you have not booked them yet, we can recommend some of those who we have worked with several times in the past! All our booking forms, and customer related information are stored safely online so no one can loose them in our amazing CRM. This helps us to keep every email, phone call, quote, booking form and song request in one, easy to access location.
This central system is key for us to have all your information on file and to ensure continuity in our services. This also means that should you have to change your wedding date due to health issues, or our DJ has a family emergency or tests positive for covid, we can quickly & cleanly replace him in minutes and deliver the exact same service without you being affected or left without a DJ last minute!
Wedding Day Sound and Lighting
Our wedding DJs use only the highest quality and most reliable sound and lighting equipment! We have a workshop where we store all of our equipment. It is tested before and after every event and maintained regularly to ensure any chance of equipment failure is minimised while it is out on a job. We also keep our equipment test & tagged and up to date with health & safety standards to ensure there are no issues with us being allowed on site or causing any hazards.
We provide the appropriately sized sound system for the number of people on your guest list to ensure the sound isn’t over powering, or too quiet. We will be ready to go with aux connections for background music for earlier in the day and wireless microphones for your vows, speeches and announcements. A wedding DJ will be on hand to monitor volume levels making sure that dance floor bangers aren’t overpowering a social dinner atmosphere while guests are sitting down for their meals, and are ready step up the vibe when your guests are ready to dance! We have custom LED Up Lighting packages which add huge atmosphere and colour to any venue, transforming even the most boring rooms into a visually stunning Wedding event. Wedding Music – What can we provide?
Our Wedding DJs have a huge music library of over 40,000 songs and growing every day. We work closely with you to make sure that appropriate music is played throughout each section of the day and is played at an appropriate volume. We have an online music form where you have the ability to have as little or as much input into the music played, from your special songs, to background music and of course requests for the dance floor. You can put together a request list, simply tick some genre boxes or even share a spotify playlist with us!

What will my Wedding Day Entertainment cost?
We have been lucky enough to provide wedding DJ services to many memorable weddings all over New Zealand each with different budgets in mind! At DJ4You we pride ourselves in providing a range of DJ Packages at reasonable prices to cater for everyone. We will work alongside you to recommend the perfect package for your requirements and in your price range. We have put together several pre-made packages in our online brochure that you can view HERE. Our Wedding DJ packages vary from a full day 10 hour service, to our 3 hour dance floor only service and everything in between.
Our packages are all inclusive with only travel being charged at 80c per km so we can ensure there will be no hidden costs, that’s a promise.

CONSIDERING LIVE MUSIC AT YOUR WEDDING?
As well as an exceptional team of Wedding DJs, we also run a nation wide Live Music Agency under the brand Better Band. Live music can be a perfect way to set the vibe at your wedding ceremony as guests are arriving with one of our solo acoustic musicians or string quartets. Live music can also set a totally different vibe and appeal to couples and guests differently on the dance floor. We have cover bands in various setups from 2 piece duo bands, trios and full cover bands ready to get your guests on their feet dancing.
