Matt Hicks is an open format DJ found in many bars and events throughout the Waikato and Coromandel regions. Matt has weekly residencies at Peach and Porker Night-club (Te Awamutu) and Lucky Finds (Hamilton). Highlights in his career thus far have included being the interchange DJ at 2022s Dance Farm festivals at Joes Farm (Whangamata) playing to 4000 people, The legendary Waikato Halloween festival ‘Summervines’ at Vilagrad winery and the 600 strong crowd at Waihi Beach Hotels New Years party. Thomas McGrath is extremely well equipped to get people on the dancefloor and keep them there well into the night. “My favorite thing about DJing weddings is that it’s the one rare occasion where you can have three generations of all kinds of people dancing together on one dancefloor from grandma to granddaughter which is really one of the most magical things to be able to facilitate”. Jojo Wells began her Djing journey in the early 2000’s in a friends bedroom, learning to mix with vinyl. She moved to Queenstown in 2008 and felt pretty famous after scoring resident nights at local nightclubs in town and having the opportunity to play alongside international dj’s passing through. Since switching to digital, her cheesy side has made an appearance and she loves a mix of tunes from 70s, 80s, 90s through to hip hop, funk and of course drum and bass (when the mood is right)! Making the party come to life is a passion of hers no matter what the event. Weddings, corporate events, birthdays or just a good old knees up. Hemi Ruka is a Whangarei based DJ with experience in the scene dating back to the 1990s. Holding several residencies in his time across Whangarei, Dunedin and elsewhere in NZ, as well as being the entertainment manager at several of the same venues, Hemi as recently returned to NZ and revitalised his love for DJing and is delivering over 20 years of experience to Weddings & Private events for you and your guests.

Jermaine Poi is born and raised in West Auckland with over 15 years of djing under my belt. While spending the last 10 years in Melbourne, he worked as a resident dj at some of the most popular bars and clubs in Melbourne City as well as catering to a range of other events such as weddings, private functions and corporate events. Jermaine loves his 90’s RnB & NZ/Island Reggae and has a vast knowledge of music to play at all types of events. He also personally edits songs which gives his certain tracks the quality they may normally lack for a party vibe. He can also provide custom mixes for wedding items such as reception walk-ins, first dance’s etc. Song selection and reading the people and environment is the key for his sets and rocking the crowd is the reward.
Nick Taylor is well known around Auckland in the music community. Tokyo native and turn-table extraordinaire Ryuzo Nishida a.k.a DJ Ryuzo is one of NZ’s premier club/Wedding/Corporate event DJ’s. With a career spanning over 20 years and counting, Ryuzo has played to packed out clubs all over NZ and at international venues across Japan, Singapore, Australia and the US.
As an established artist by day, Ryuzo’s appreciation for the arts transcends through his music as a turntablist by night. He specializes in turntable trickery and music mixing prowess by captivating crowds across a diverse range of genres including Top 40s, House, EDM, Soul/Funk, Nu Jazz, Reggae, Electro, RnB, Underground Hip-hop & Old Skool Classics. Ryuzo has also successfully collaborated with reknowned Auckland turntablists DJ Spence and DJ Chuckee on club concepts “Foreign Faders”
Stu Larsen is a NZ based musician, DJ and producer. After three years of piano lessons as a youngster, he decided to move over to the guitar which is his main instrument. His live music shows include loops and a one-man-band style sound; drums, bass, rhythm and lead guitar, and his vocals on top. Singing well known covers through the decades, and putting his own unique spin on the sounds. He is a regular on the Auckland live music circuit and has been for 3+ years.
His favourite style of music to DJ is house (funk / tropical / organic) with splashes of breakbeat and drum & bass. He’s a regular pick for weddings, birthday parties and corporate events and has a huge setlist of party anthems available at his fingertips. He uses industry best equipment, with a full PA, DJ booth, guitars, keys, lighting and microphones all at the ready. When he’s not playing live, you’ll find him producing his own music which you can listen on on Spotify, or watch his music videos on YouTube. As an added bonus Stu can also take care of the MC duties for your Wedding!
