Matteo Coletta

Meet Matteo Coletta, aka Teo: a passionate performer who draws inspiration from his Italian heritage. From early beginnings as a drummer and percussionist, he has become a captivating artist who incorporates live percussion into his DJ sets, bringing a unique blend of DJing and live instruments to corporate and public events. He is now a highly sought-after DJ based in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Creating immersive sonic experiences at ‘WellSpace’ in Queenstown introduced his warmth and creativity to many, and he never looked back.

His talent has been showcased throughout New Zealand, with multiple performances at NZ Spirit (North & South Island), Wellfest, Burning Horse, Dimension, and Winter Pride festivals, as well as for promoters such as Electric Rush, NoTrace, and others, joining international artists on the line-up.

During the winter seasons, he has regularly participated in events promoted by NZ Ski and others, including performances at Coronet Peak where, in his biggest event, he performed live percussion while DJing in front of more than 4,000 people.

As a resident DJ in Queenstown, his curated taste adds value to the local nightlife. He can be seen at Bardeaux and at other venues such as Bunker, World Bar, Yonder, Sundeck, Local, Tommy’s, Bungalow, and 1876, while consistently performing at venues, weddings, corporate events, and lively celebrations. He is also represented by booking agencies DJ4You and Better Band.

His sound has also been featured regularly at Ayrburn, Sundays, and other events, further enriching the local music scene. Corporates such as the Hilton Group and Heritage have added him to their rosters, alongside collaborations with local saxophonists.

Teo earned the Pete Tong DJ Academy Diploma, and one of his goals is to perform at weddings, clubs, major festivals, and create unforgettable experiences with his audience; achieved by empathising with the crowd and playing what feels right in the moment. His talent is employed seamlessly, navigating between genres to create atmospheres that deeply resonate with listeners

While not performing, Teo lends his skill as a representative of Apple for the Queenstown area, where his precision as an Apple-certified technician and consultant is evident. He is among the most qualified and competent in the industry, working at the intersection of technology and art.

Duncan Mackintosh

Duncan Mackintosh, known as DJ Duncs, is an open format DJ who has been cultivating dance floors since way back. In his younger days he saw an opportunity to take the reins at regular shindigs, learning how to curate a playlist and keep the flow going. DJ Duncs is proving himself across the Top of the South for live sound, and DJing weddings and private functions. Lenny Wilson

Lenny Wilson, aka DJ Giggles, has been on the DJ circuit for almost 30 years. He has spent most of his professional career dropping fun loving, sing a long, party anthems in Aucklands most popular nightlife venues. Being the resident at Head Quarters and Forte each in their prime! Alongside this he has done a variety of private events ranging from Weddings, Birthdays and corporate events entertaining the masses with his skill to know precisely what song to play and when! Lenny finds his joy in DJing from the simple art of making sure people are having fun and singing along to his tunes!

Tyrone Vaifale

Tyrone Vaifale, aka DJ Jitsu, has spent many years DJing in both Wellington and Auckland. With extensive music knowledge across all genres he is your go to DJ for any event type. Ty takes pride in being the perfect combo of professional, easy going and fun, and will allow you to relax and enjoy your special event. With a decade of experience already under his belt, Ty really knows how to read the crowd and provide bangers that keeps the dance floor going.

Kareem Brown

Kareem Brown is a DJ/Saxophonist that was brought up playing multi instruments at the age of 5yrs onwards. Having a lot of experience playing the Saxophone in bands and with DJs, it was only natural to improvise Jazz/Funk/Soul across most genres of music. Kareem is often DJing corporate functions, birthdays, weddings, festivals etc, and brings an element of live fusion with his Saxophone, creating an amazing atmosphere of showmanship, class and leaving the night with an epic experience. Kareem has an extensive selection and style of music ranging from 60s 70s 80s 90s 2000s+ of Rock n Roll, Pop, R&B, Disco, House, covering most genres to suit everyone.

Lennox Broderick

Originally from Wairarapa and now based in Wellington, Lennox Brokerick is a dedicated DJ with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences at school balls and weddings. His sets blend a wide range of genres, from classic hits and Top 40 pop to EDM and hip-hop, ensuring a dynamic and engaging sonic journey for every audience.

Although he’s been behind the decks for less than two years, Lennox’s rise has been swift. He’s already lit up some of Aotearoa’s biggest stages, including:

Sean Hill has been the resident DJ of New Zealand’s biggest pop station ‘The Edge’ for the past 6 years bringing Party bangers to the masses with the hottest mixes to get you ready for whatever party situation you’re getting yourself into. He’s opened for international artists Jason Derulo, Netsky and even Hugh Jackman’s greatest showman tour. Played MainStage at RnV an Homegrown and he’s known for his keen ability to play to any crowd as a master of starting a party out of thin air.

Nancy Howe, aka DJ Dimples, is a Canterbury/Christchurch based DJ specialising in Karaoke, Parties, School Discos, Weddings, Corporate and Events. She has experience playing Top 40 hits from the 60s til now across most genres, including rap, hip hop, rock, pop, dance, techno and grunge.

Josh Stevens

Josh Stevens aka Steevo is a fresh face in the Wellington DJ scene. Since moving from the mighty Waikato, Josh has managed to pick up a residency at popular nightclub mishmosh, from there Josh has also featured on multiple UKG and house music related gigs as well as playing at his hometown nightclubs when he ventures back to the Waikato. Josh is best described as an open format DJ meaning he can play any genre thrown at him but he definitely has extra appreciation for some smooth house tracks and some speed garage, Joshs guilty pleasure is definitely pop singalongs and he loves a laugh and a bit of banter. John Ellis

John Ellis is a multi-instrumentalist who plays Sax, Piano, woodwinds, flute, stick and hand Percussion. Originally from a classical background, John has developed a special interest in “World Music”. And has played tradition and crossover music in Africa, India, Middle Eastern, Cuba, Brazil, China, Sumatra, as well as playing in Contemporary, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, and Celtic bands. John has worked extensively with dance, working as a Contemporary Dance Accompanist (Unitec) for four years. He also plays for traditional African and Middle Eastern dance performances and classes. and has performed and written Live music for two theatre shows, ‘The Brothers Size’ and ‘One by One’ John has worked with, the Bedyondsemble (World Music), Jews Brothers Band ( Clezmer Music), The Mamaku Project (French/Kiwi Dub), Charanga Amadeus (Cuban Charanga), Midnight Fizz (Cool Covers), . John Ellis has played extensively with DJ’s in and around Auckland, was Resident Percussionist @ The Khuja Lounge for 5 years, and has worked at Sky City regularly with DJ’s; Jason Eli, Murray Sweetpants, Manual Bundy, and Chris Cox.
